The famed Asbury Lanes has been known for presenting some killer local and national shows. On Tuesday July 24, King Khan and The Shrines, the cult phenomenon who present some of the wildest and soulful psychedelic rock ‘n’ roll, will be making one of their 10 U.S. dates in the city by the sea.
The music of King Khan is absolutely infectious — the king of rock ‘n’ roll that makes you get up and dance, grooves so funky that’ll you feel transported to an era where long sideburns weren’t ironic and vinyl was retro it was the industry standard.
Opening up for King Khan will be longtime Asbury Park favorite Sikamor Rooney and Brooklyn scenesters Hector’s Pets.
