bill bodkin and logan j. fowler hang out with jennifer lawrence…
Theater, Rent, No Thanks, Undecided? Undecided. I like Jennifer Lawrence. I mean I wouldn’t mind watching a movie where she runs around sweating in a tank top for 30 minutes in a near two hour film, but that’s just me. Anyway, House at the End of the Street (why isn’t it “the” house?) looks like it could only survive based on Lawrence’s performance, and maybe, just maybe Elisabeth Shue’s (glad to see she’s still getting work). If it can bring in good scares and not a series of “jumpy” moments then I’m down for it, but I feel like I wouldn’t miss anything by skipping it altogether. I guess I’ll wait for reviews to come rolling in to gauge my final thought. If anything, probably a rental at best. –LJF

Theater, Rent, No Thanks, Undecided? Rent. House at the End of the Street could easily be a very entertaining movie, however the trailer doesn’t really exhibit this. It’s a little too generic, a little too been there, done that haunted house/boogeyman movie. So I’m wondering if there’s more to this film than the trailer is letting on. And like my TT colleague, I believe Jennifer Lawrence will be fantastic in this movie as I have yet to see her turn in a poor performance. However Lawrence alone won’t get me into the theater, so I’ll wait for a rainy day to rent this one. –BB
