Theater, Rent, No Thanks, Undecided? No thanks. I’ve seen plenty of commercials for The Croods in my daily life and not one of them has implemented enough interest in me to go see it, theater or rent wise. This animated comedy about a crew of cave people who travel to a unknown and never before discovered location fails to ignite the childhood spark in me, or for that matter I don’t see any “over the heads of the kids” adult humor within context. There’s not much at the box office playing in the way of family entertainment so I can imagine this movie might do pretty well, but I’m just not feeling it whatsoever. –LJF

Theater, Rent, No Thanks, Undecided? No thanks. While Ryan Reynolds and Emma Stone do two of the voices and are always entertaining, The Croods still looks all kinds of awful. This film had potential (mostly due to the aforementioned casting of Stone and Reynolds), but the jokes in the trailer just fall flat and the story is, no pun intended, paint by numbers. –BB
