YES! YES! YES!

Pro wrestling fans rejoice because this November there is a film festival dedicated to thing which you love most — WRESTLING.

The festival is being put together by Rocks Off’s own Jake Szufnarowski and PWInsider’s Mike Johnson — both lifelong, diehard wrestling fans. The festival will take place Thursday November 21st-Saturday November 23rd at the historic Kraine Theater located in the East Village.

WWE Superstar Rob Van Damm will be on-hand as a guest and we will keep you up to date on additional guests and films.

The opening night (Thursday November 21st) will feature a slew of pro wrestling short films and will be main evented by the king of independent wrestling and one of the best podcasters to ever live, Colt “Boom Boom” Cabana. The former NWA Heavyweight champion, ROH and WWE wrestler will bring his famed $5 Dollar Wrestling live show to the Kraine. What’s $5 Wrestling? Think Mystery Science Theater 3000 with really, really bad wrestling. $5 Wrestling is coming off the heels of selling out over 20 dates at the famed Edinbugh Fringe Festival, so New York City be prepared to get hilarious. On Friday November 22nd, there will be more short films and a special screening of the documentary Seven Levels of Hate. This documentary, put together by veteran indie grappler and former NWA World Champ “Scrap Iron” Adam Pierce, chronicles the legendary feud Pierce and Colt Cabana had over the NWA belt and the controversy that surrounded it. Following the screening there will be a live Q+A session hosted by Kevin Gill, the voice of Juggalo Championship Wrestling.Click here for tickets.

On Saturday November 23rd — things are gonna get weird! The Rocks Off Pro-Wrestling Film Fest proudly presents the New York City premiere of Pro-Wrestlers vs. Zombies. Yes, it’s amazing as it sounds. The film features “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, “The Franchise” Shane Douglas, Kurt Angle, Matt Hardy, “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan and others battle the living dead.
