Chlorophobia is the fear of the color green. I suppose those people hide out once a year during St. Patrick’s Day while we all sport as much of the color as possible while vomiting up the excessive amount of green beer we have ingested in the name of the holiday.
I mention this because, as there is no official name for the fear of leprechauns, it has somehow been bundled under the same phobia name. In the case of leprechauns, I would think the fear of gold or little people could also work.
For those chlorophobic folks out there, and by that I mean those afraid of leprechauns, I wouldn’t pursue this story any further as I am about to blow this thing up with the scariest lep of them all.
We have all seen Warwick Davis. He isn’t particularly frightening on his own. As Willow, an Ewok and even a professor at Hogwarts, he doesn’t provide much of a threat, but you throw that leprechaun makeup on the little guy and all bets are off.
So, in honor of St. Paddy’s Day, I thought I would share my favorite moments from the Leprechaun films starring Mr. Warwick Davis himself.
• Leprechaun– Lung Pogo:
• Leprechaun 3-Bigger is Better
• Leprechaun in Space: Male Birth
• Leprechaun 2: Morty’s Tummy O’Gold
• Leprechaun in the Hood: A Friend With Weed Is A Friend Indeed
• Leprechaun Back 2 Tha Hood: Leprebong
Have a fun and safe St. Paddy’s everyone! And if you should happen upon the pot of gold, don’t steal a single piece or the leprechaun will get you.
