When: Memorial Day Weekend May 22-24, 2015
Where: City Hall Plaza, Boston MA
Tickets: Click here.

Spend a wicked awesome Memorial Day Weekend in Beantown as Beck, My Morning Jacket, St. Vincent, Run the Jewels, Skrillex and others bring the noise to Boston. What we dig about Boston Calling 2015 is the inclusion of Tenacious D, TV on the Radio, and Gerard Way all of whom are not the typical festival band for the Summer of 2015. The fact this will also be happening in the heart of the city separates this from the “field tests” that proliferate the summer.

Shaky Knees Line-up

When: May 8-10
Where: Central, Atlanta, GA
Tickets: Click here.

Now THIS could be our favorite line-up so far because the diversity is so wide. Sure, every fest is diverse but hot damn you’re telling me that hard ass bands like Clutch and Death from Above 1979 will be sharing a bill with one of my all-time faves, Flogging Molly as well as Best Coast, Trombone Short and Pres Hall Jazz Band? Do I have friends in Atlanta? Also, look at the rest of this line-up, it’s got a ton of bands no one else has booked. Plus there’s Pop-Break interview alum like: Manchester Orchestra, Kaiser Chiefs, Black Lips, Fidlar, Speedy Ortiz, Frank Turner, Surfer Blood and the aforementioned Clutch and Flogging Molly.

Where: Hunter Mountain, NY

Man, this jam is going to be off the charts. Any time you can get The Black Keys and Robert Plant on a fest, it’s definitely a good time. But we’re kinda stoked on the undercard which features the amazing Budos Band, Benjamin Booker, Trigger Hippy, Dopapod and Lake Street Drive. We’re also stoked to see our old pal Marco Benevento and Pop-Break interviewees Rusted Root, Big Gigantic and Rebelution on the bill.
