Mumford & Sons’ Gentlemen of the Road Stopover Festival in Seaside Heights, New Jersey Adds Free Downtown Stage
The weekend of June 4th-6th is going to be huge for the Jersey Shore mecca of fun and fried food known as Seaside Heights. Mumford & Sons will be bringing their Gentlemen of the Road Stopover Fest to the boardwalk town and will be bringing The Alabama Shakes, JEFF the Brotherhood, Flaming Lips, Blake Mills, Dawes, Jenny Lewis, Little May, The Maccabees, The Vaccines and The Very Best.
Seriously, this fest had us sold at Mumford & Sons.
Yet, the fest has done something infinitely cool — it’s celebrating the amazing array of local Jersey-born artists. They be performing at the down town stage located on Ocean Terrace. These artists are the A-List of Jersey bands, as many of these acts tour nationally and have made national headlines. They include: River City Extension, Nicole Atkins, Brick+Mortar, Owel, Modern Chemistry (featuring Pop-Break’s Joe Zorzi), Anthony D’Amato, Thomas Wesley Stern, Quincy Mumford & The Reason Why, Sammy Kay, Milan & The Sour Goat, Wyland, Von Mons, Accidental Seabirds. Deal Casino (just added). Click on any of the links to read exclusive Pop-Break interviews with these artists!
The line-up will also feature the Bruce Springsteen tribute Tramps Like US, Brooklyn’s Kevin Devine (although we claim him as one of ours), Vacationer, and Pig Pen Theatre Co.

Because every single one of them was chosen to perform at this fest for a reason – they’re amazing.
