Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Begins Production, Kurt Russell Joins Cast
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, the much anticipated sequel to the first, has finally begun production!
According to the official press release, it has finally be announced that the Star Lord and his pack of misfit protectors is back on a much more dangerous mission than before…the search for his true parentage.
The sequel will be written and directed once again by James Gunn, and features returning cast members Chris Pratt as Peter Quill/Star-Lord; Zoe Saldana as Gamora; Dave Bautista as Drax; Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot; Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket; Michael Rooker as Yondu; Karen Gillan as Nebula; and Sean Gunn as Kraglin.
New cast members include Pom Klementieff , Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan, and possibly the most exciting casting news for the sequel, Kurt Russell.
The sequel is set to blast into a theater near you May 5, 2017. So while you are waiting to collect all the Infinity Stones for your gauntlet, mark your calendars and let this official sneak peek photo quench your thirst.
