After a brilliant debut in Asbury Park, Jack Antonoff’s Shadow of the City Music Festival will make its return to the Garden State on Saturday June 18.
The festival will take place on the beach in Seaside Heights, and will be headlined by the red hot alt-pop act, The 1975.
The full lineup for the festival will be announced on Monday March 14th. Early bird, premium, and VIP tickets will go on sale this Friday, March 11th at 10 a.m. EST. Follow all updates on the official website.
Last year, Antonoff’s festival featured performances by Charli XCX, The Front Bottoms, Misterwives, Vic Mensa, Robert Delong, Cults, How to Dress Well, and Antonoff’s band, Bleachers. There were also food trucks, a Weird N.J. stand, video games, carnival games, and a celebration of all things New Jersey.
The famed boardwalk town of Seaside Heights is no stranger to music festivals as it was home to Mumford & Sons’ Gentlemen of the Road Stopover last summer. That festival saw throngs of people come out to jam to the sounds of a Mumford-curated two-day festival.
