CBS smash hit Supergirl has been green lit for another season.
Supergirl follows the story of Kara Zor-El, Superman’s super cousin, played by Melissa Benoist. Kara, while previously concealing her powers, decides to costume up and protect the people of National City from the dangers that lie ahead.
Deadline made the report earlier when CEO of CBS Les Moonves made the official announcement at Deutsche Bank Media, Internet & Telecom Conference earlier in the day.
The series also features Calista Flockhart, Chyler Leigh, Mehcad Brooks, David Harewood and Jeremy Jordan.
Supergirl airs on Mondays at 8pm on CBS.
