POP-BREAK LIVE: THE CULT AT THE WELLMONT
Britain’s hard rock and heavy metal legends, The Cult played in front of a packed house at The Wellmont Theater in Montclair, NJ on Saturday, April 9th. Though the band gained most of its popularity in the 80s, they’re still churning out fresh albums today, three decades later.
On Saturday, fans were treated to a healthy mix of new jams from their 2016 release Hidden City such as “Birds of Paradise” and “G O A T” (The Cult’s first encore song,) and classic favorites like “Fire Woman” and “She Sells Sanctuary.”
From start to finish, the band captivated its audience with a stunning light show, sing-along melodies and heavy hitters, and of course their signature post-punk sound.
