Out of all the films we’ve talked about, this is the surest thing. It’s Captain America fighting Iron Man. It’s Spider-Man’s introduction to the MCU. There’s a crap load of other characters I can barely keep track of. Everyone is incapable of criticizing the MCU, so it’s guaranteed an 85% on Rotten Tomatoes. It also has the added benefit of people not loving Batman v Superman, so I’m sure all the online critics can’t wait to gloat about how much better Marvel does it. I’ll probably end up low balling this, but there’s no scenario in which this movie doesn’t do crazy well. It’s the first movie out of the gate, and will hold the box office crown all summer long.
What It Has Going For It: It’s the MCU.
What It Has Going Against It: I suppose there could be weather problems causing theaters to lose power.
Domestic Take: $385 Million
