As reported by Variety, Teen Wolf will end in 2017 at the conclusion of season 6, with the 100th episode acting as the series finale.
MTV broke the news to fans at San Diego Comic-Con alongside a new trailer for season 6 and panel featuring Tyler Posey, his co-stars, and executive producer Jeff Davis. The panel also included a look at the season’s villains, the Ghost Riders, played by Ian Bohen and J.R. Bourne, who appeared in costume.
“Teen Wolf has been an extraordinary journey, one that captured the hearts and imaginations of fans more than we could’ve ever imagined,” said Davis, addressing the announcement. “We’re eternally grateful for the support we’ve received over these past six years and we’re excited to take our brave fans on one last, thrilling adventure.”
