Pop Break Live: Band of Changes at Indian Summer Music Fest – Anchor’s Bend, Asbury Park, NJ
It was the perfect Sunday afternoon at the shore.
The sun was shining, not a cloud in the sky, and sweet, sweet music reverberated throughout the outdoor concert area of The Anchor’s Bend in Asbury Park, NJ.
The venue, which is adjacent to Convention Hall, and located on the North Beach side, was packed with partiers as the third and final day of the annual Indian Summer Music Fest took place.
Headlining the final day was Band of Changes — an all-star band lead by Chris Harford. According to their social media, “and of Changes operates in the free zone outside rock’s usual categories. He has a foot in country, a hand in seventies rock, a toe in folk, a finger in post-punk.”
On this show the band consisted of Joe Russo of Joe Russo’s Almost Dead (JRAD), Scott Metzger of JRAD and WOLF!, Dave Dreiwitz of JRAD and Ween, Robbie Seahag, and Harford.
Pop Break’s Matt Heasley caught the band in action.
