One of the coolest things to happen last summer in Asbury Park, NJ was the emergence of Jams on the Sand. This weekly, free outdoor concert featured some of the best up-and-coming, and established touring acts in the world of “jam music.” Bands ranged from rock to reggae to blues and NOLA brass — and all delivered a crazy fun time, and helped cement Jams on the Sand as a destination for jam fans.
This summer, the concert series produced by The Anchor’s Bend (located at the North Beach of Asbury Park’s Convention Hall), is upping the ante for its third season. The new season will run June 30 till August 30. The shows will remain free, and will run from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. each week and feature Happy Hour specials from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
