The Asbury Lanes has announced its first 19 shows for the summer of 2018.

The venue, which closed for renovations in 2015, is schedule to re-open its doors Memorial Day Weekend. The venue, which has gone through years of structural and aesthetic renovations, will still feature bowling, but will now have a 24/7 diner built into it.

The Asbury Lanes is currently partnering with The Bowery Presents to produce their live music schedule. The initial line-up (we expect more announcements in the near future) is a blend of local and national talent, ranging from jam bands to hip hop to alternative to blue grass.

The big show that got the scene buzzing is the two-night stand from Thursday. The New Brunswick emo icons will perform their album Full Collapse on August 23, and their legendary record War All the Time on August 24.

Other national names of note include red hot indie act Bishop Briggs, hip hop star Lupe Fiasco, and indie stalwart Kurt Vile and the Violators.
