It is no secret that we at The Pop Break were really into The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina on Netflix. We literally reviewed every single episode.
So obviously, we were bewitched (pun intended) at the drop of the trailer for the second part of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
The second part of the series will begin streaming on April 5.
From what we’ve gathered from the trailer — scored to The Runaways’ “Cherry Bomb” — is more witchcraft, a potential romance between Harvey and Rosalind, more scenes from the school, the Dark Lord, and absolutely tantalizing insanity.
The second part will see the introduction of Alexis Denisof (aka Wesley Wyndam-Pryce of Angel and Buffy the Vampire Slayer fame) as the boyfriend of Ms. Wardwell (Michelle Gomez). Jeddidah Goodarce (of The Originals, and Disney’s Descendants) joins the cast as Dorian Grey. Yes, that Dorian Grey.
This will not be the only bit of Sabrina coming to Netflix soon. On December 14, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina presents a Holiday Special entitled “A Midwinter’s Tale.” This episode will see the appearance of a younger Sabrina, played by McKenna Grace, who is no stranger to Netflix. She recently played Young Theo in Haunting of Hill House, and Rose on Fuller House.
According to a press release the special is about:
““The Church of Night, like all covens, celebrates the Winter Solstice—the longest night of the year—when families gather around the Yule Fire to sing pagan carols and tell ghost stories. But the holidays are also a time for guests and visitors—both welcome and unwelcome — you never know what might come down the chimney…”
We’ve also heard we’ll see young Sabrina interacting with Santa Claus.
