Pop Break Live: Broods at Union Transfer
Sibling duo Broods brought a night of danceable electrorock to Union Transfer. The New Zealand based band is touring in support of their third album Don’t Feed the Pop Monster which was released earlier this year. Vocalist Georgia Nott and multi-instrumentalist Caleb Nott are joined on stage by two fellow musicians to fill out their high energy live sound.
Their Philadelphia set included all 12 songs from their latest album, their non-album single Eyes a Mess, plus their 2014 hit single ‘Bridges’ and a handful of other tracks from their debut album Evergreen and sophomore release Conscious. Despite previously touring with bands such as Two Door Cinema Club, Tove Lo and Taylor Swift, Broods played to a small room at Union Transfer on this headlining tour; an absolute treat for fans of the band wanting an intimate show experience. The band’s expanding discography and huge presence are sure to grow into larger spaces the next time around.
