During the last episode, we didn’t get to the cocktail party or the Rose Ceremony. The episode ended during the third date, which was a solo date between Hannah and Luke P. Due to Luke’s recent actions, Hannah is looking for any reason to keep him around, but that’s proving to be more difficult than originally anticipated.

The Bachelorette Season 15 Episode 6 starts off in the mansion with the men conversing about what could happen with Luke on this date. They talk about how they’d throw a party if someone came and took his suitcase away.

Hannah talks about how none of the roads she’s on with Luke leads to what she wants and how she can’t give him the rose, and puts the rose down. Hannah said that aside from all the other days, she’s very frustrated with how her date went with him tonight. Luke pleads with her to think about everything they shared from Day 1. He admits he screwed up and said, “my bad” and thinks they should move on, which made me laugh. She sends Luke P. home and asks him to respect that, but he doesn’t stay gone for long.

Luke reconvenes with Hannah after walking away (I really wish he just walked away). He admits he was wrong and felt that he wished he talked to her. He talks about wanting to scream and wanting to move mountains for her. As someone on the outside looking in, it seems really fake … but maybe this is what Hannah wanted to see. Hannah talks to him about everything he was doing wrong, and how he should have done it. I really wish she had a bit more conviction and just pushed him away again.

Luke appears back in the house, but he doesn’t have a rose on his coat. So, it looks like Luke is still in the game. None of the men seem happy about this development. They show Hannah in the room where she was having dinner with Luke, and they keep zooming in on the rose that was not given to Luke P. She said that if Luke can show who he really is to her, then he’ll receive a rose, but if he goes back to being robotic, then he won’t receive a rose.

They show Luke go into a church which is a bit heavy-handed if you ask me. They show him kneeling and praying, clearly trying to show him making amends.

Cocktail Party

Hannah is wearing a white cocktail dress with a slit that goes up to her upper thigh. She also has a white sequin jacket/blazer over the dress; she looks like a total rockstar. She talks with Garrett first, they have a civil conversation about Garrett’s own path, but then he asked if Luke brought up any other people on his date. Hannah admits that Luke brought up Mike and Dylan, but that she was the one who might have pulled that information out of him. Garrett, in front of all of the other guys, brings up the fact that Luke brought up Mike’s name as well as Dylan’s and Devin’s name.

The men start jumping down Luke’s throat about how no one believes him. Hannah can hear the men bickering and she listens in on the conversation for a bit before intervening. She tells the men to stop and tells them how the fights in the house are pissing her off. She said that any of the guys can and should ask her about what happened during Luke’s date. Hannah clears the air why she was fishing for other people’s names. She said she’s tired about hearing screaming about all of this and it sounds like she starts to choke up a bit. The guys bring up their points, Luke brings up his own points, it’s all very repetitive. She tells all the men to stay in their own lane and storms off. I’m surprised the cocktail party didn’t end on the spot. Hannah is sitting in another room and listening to the other men talk.

She downs her drink and storms back into the room with the men for the second time. She tells Luke to stop making excuses. She tells the other men to stop focusing on Luke and start focusing on her. She begs them to please stop pointing fingers and start focusing on themselves. She starts breaking down and says that she doesn’t want to talk to anybody, and she leaves the room.

If I was anyone aside from Jed and Mike, who won the date roses this week, I would be terrified about not getting a rose. Chris Harrison approaches Hannah and asks if she’s okay. He gives her a hug and she cries to him; Chris Harrison is the best person.

List of the men who were cut this week:

Kevin

Grant

Devin

After the rose ceremony Hannah talks about being very upset and wanting to be on the same page as everyone else, after that she leaves for the night.

The men are in Latvia! They show the men drinking beers and they’re going to try and be better for Hannah. Meanwhile Hannah is having some alone time with Chris Harrison.

After the commercial break, they cut to Chris Harrison directly addressing the show viewers. He talked about how he sat down alone with Hannah to discuss some of the complications she’s been having with this group. It feels very much like the finale or the After the Final Rose television segments. They talk back and forth about the drama that’s been happening and literally do flashbacks to earlier in the season. I’m a little put off by this whole segment because it just feels like a total waste of my time. They’re showing clips from episodes that were only two weeks ago and even showed clips from THIS episode. Over 45 minutes’ worth of time has just been dedicated to flashbacks!

The rest of The Bachelorette Season 15 Episode 6 is just the preview of the next half of the season. Honestly, I have never been so disappointed by an episode of the Bachelorette or the Bachelor as I have by this episode. I feel like nothing has happened, nothing got resolved, and we spent about an hour viewing flashbacks. I don’t need flashbacks in my mid-season episodes, I wait for the finale, the Men’s Tell-All, and the After the Final Rose episodes for those. Unfortunately, this episode felt like a waste of time. At least the upcoming season looks like it could be interesting, but we’ll have to wait and see.

During the credits, they show Hannah chasing around pigeons and laughing and having a good time. I need more of that kind of Hannah in my episodes.
