Pamela Flores, one of our favorite singer/songwriters from the Asbury Park music scene, will host a music video viewing party at The Danny Clinch Transparent Gallery on Sunday, October 6 at 5:30 p.m. Flores will be showing those attending the video for her song “Grace.”
According to press release for the event:
“As a Latina woman and long time advocate for human rights, the concept of the music video is the imperfections of humanity, and our “falling from grace” moments. School shootings, sexual assault allegations and the treatment of Latinx migrants are all highlighted in this video. Produced by Howl Peak Productions this video is a real-time look into our current society and the basic human rights issues and challenges we are all facing. For the past few years, Flores has done her best to use the platform she has to bring awareness to organizations and topics that she deeply believes in and would love to help spread this message.”
The viewing party will feature performances by Tara Dente, Flores and her band, as well as special guests appearing during Flores’ set.
The event will be raising money for the New Jersey Chapter of the ACLU.
