A show like The Office is one of those rare gems that has seemingly never really gone away, even though the final episode aired over six years ago.
The cast still reference the show constantly on social media while viewers have created countless amounts of fan theory videos on Youtube. Funko has even recently released a line of Pop Vinyl figures for the series while Quill.com has Dunder Mifflin paper you can legit order. Additionally, The NBC staple has become a highly successful off Broadway production in The Office: A Musical Parody. Although we never really left the office, we can finally get just a little bit more of our favorite binge-worthy show with Jenna Fischer (Pam) and Angela Kinsey’s (Angela) brand new podcast, Office Ladies.
Simply put, Office Ladies is an absolute gem. Jenna and Angela are legit best friends who literally finish each other’s sentences. Aside from giving some behind the scenes insight to the show, the besties even address our fan theories head on. The first episode focuses on the series’ pilot and talks about a lot of character origins with a ton of trivia sprinkled in. Speaking of “Sprinkles” we even learn about how Angela created her infamous cat in the very first episode. Everything that viewers ever wanted to know is seemingly going to be addressed on this show.
The chemistry between Kinsey and Fischer is naturally there, but the two of them are absolutely endearing as well. Jenna even talks openly about how she was anxious about doing the podcast so Angela made her do a dance break mid-session to ease her tensions. These two couldn’t be any more adorable. Of course the two talk about their dear friends Steve Carrell, Raine Wilson, Oscar Nunez, and more throughout. I can only hope that we have some guest appearances on the podcast along the way.
As if this podcast couldn’t get any better, the ladies are allowing fans to send in questions via twitter, e-mail, or voice memo. You can ask Fischer and Kinsey a question about the series by emailing officeladies@earwolf.com if you put “Hot Girl” in the subject line. Again, this is a very special opportunity for fans to re-live one of their favorite shows with some of their favorite characters. Heck, I even sent in a question about the Scranton Strangler fan theories.
This is a definite 5 star show and another Insta-subscribe.
