During the Good Morning America episode showed the day that this episode aired, the next Bachelorette was announced! I hope the Bachelor Nation is ready for their oldest Bachelorette yet, because Clare Crawley is coming in strong at the ripe young age of 38! I’m excited to see the men they bring onto her season, because instead of bros, they’re all going to be daddies. And there will be a few young bucks thrown in there, but there’ll probably be a few silver foxes as well. I also couldn’t be happier that they didn’t pick any of the women from Peter’s season.

Rose Ceremony

Last week, Madison walked away from peter because he admitted that he was intimate with the other women during the Fantasy Suites.

Peter was a wreck because of what happened with Madison, but he told Chris Harrison that he could see himself with any of the three girls. If that were the case, he wouldn’t be devastated that Madison left since he still had two other girls waiting for him. But instead, he sulked about Madison potentially not showing up. And, for a while, it really looked like Madison wasn’t going to show up at all. But of course, she showed up. The question was, would she turn down the rose if it was offered to her? And if that was the case, would the other woman just get it by default? Madison did not look Peter in the eyes during the beginning of the rose ceremony.

Peter gave the first rose to Hannah Ann. And after what felt like the longest pause in television history, he offered the second rose to Madison. He asked her if she’d accept it and she actually said “Yeah”. The funny part was then when he asked, “Are you sure?” and she said “yeah” again.

So, it’s true that he just wanted to get Victoria through the Fantasy Suites and then he was done with her. I’m pretty upset with Madison for selling out like that. She had such a strong stance and I was so proud of her for sticking to her guns, but none of it mattered. Victoria got dramatic again and then left. In the limo she said, “It is what it is” and she maybe might have shed a tear? Victoria blamed Madison’s ultimatum for why she was sent home, but maybe it’s because Victoria is actually crazy.

Peter, Hannah Ann, and Madison had some champagne and Madison made a toast saying, “Here’s to seeing if love can conquer all” and they toasted their champagne and the episode portion of this episode ended.

The Women Tell All

The women were introduced one by one and the applause they received was the most bizarre popularity contest. There’s a video that reviews the rivalries that bloomed within this season. Honestly, I had forgotten about some of this drama, so it was fun to watch again, particularly the champagne gate incident. They definitely showed this video before the Tell All started in order to rekindle the fires of these dramatic events.

Chris Harrison prompted the Alayah drama and they all jumped on Alayah. The “conversation” (I use that term lightly) turned into all of the women shouting over each other. Nothing was resolved from that conversation and they went to a commercial break.

Then the champagne gate episode was addressed. The girls told Kelsey that she was irrational, and she agreed with them. They then talked to Tammy about her accusations against Kelsey. If you all remember, Tammy called Kelsey a drunk and a pill popper. While talking about it again, Kelsey started to break down. Directly after that conversation, Chris Harrison brought up the feud between Mykennah and Tammy which evolved from Tammy’s feud with Kelsey. They got into a heated argument, but nothing worthy of note was said.

Kelsey joined Chris on stage. They had a highlight video of Kelsey’s time with him. The video made me sad that Peter chose Victoria F. over her. During the scene of Kelsey being sent home, Kelsey in the studio was crying. I could understand how that would be hard for her to watch. They discussed Champagne-gate and how her first thought was that she hoped her makeup would be ok afterwards. Ashley Iaconetti was brought out because she was also an emotional contestant who was on the bachelor. I was surprised they didn’t bring out Annaliese as well, since she was another contestant known for crying. Ashley gave Kelsey a giant champagne bottle that had a label with her name on it, so no one would be able to steal it from her.

Victoria F. was next to go on stage with Chris. They watched a recap of their time together, the good and bad times. They then showed the recap of what happened within this episode… when Victoria was sent home. Victoria had regrets that she couldn’t open up to him sooner than she did. Because she thought that was her downfall. Chris Harrison brought up the accusations that Peter’s ex brought up about her breaking up relationships, and she denied them, of course.

Peter was out last. He spoke about the process of being the Bachelor and how hard it was dating multiple women at the same time… big shocker. Kelsey mentioned that she was grateful for him and Mykennah said she wished she wasn’t put through that last rose ceremony since he sent her home anyway. Savannah asked if he regretted some of the choices he made in regards to the girls, but he said he was just following his heart. Chris Harrison brought up the fact that Peter rewarded crying women, and I’m so happy that someone brought it up. Peter told all of the girls that they were all very brave and he’s so grateful for all of them.

During the final portion of the show, Chris had Rachel on stage to address the issue of online harassment. Rachel wanted to pave the way for women on this show because the digital harassment only gotten so much worse than it used to be. Rachel brought up some of the messages addressed to these women and read them aloud. A few of the messages were as follows:

“You’re an emotional stupid bitch”

“Kill yourself”

“You’re useless”

And there were so many more that were just awful to hear. Rachel was crying while reading some of these comments because they are so graphic and vivid. These weren’t critiques, they were threats.

They ended the Women Tell All episode with a preview of next week’s episode. “This is one of the most unexpected and complicated endings we’ve ever seen” said Chris Harrison. It seems like there’s going to be a lot of drama next week, so be sure to stay tuned.
