Welcome to Pop Break’s new podcast series where we’re talking about The Bachelor, The Bachelorette and their many spin-offs!
The series (clever name coming, we promise you) is hosted by the husband and wife team of Pop Break staff writers Michelle Coraci and DJ Chapman. You may know Michelle from her excellent weekly reviews of The Bachelor and Bachelorette for the past few years. DJ has been with the site for over five years having written about numerous video games and pro wrestling events. He is also the co-host of Mostly Nitpicking featuring Pop Break’s former managing editor Matt Kelly and senior writer Chris Diggins.
So, we know that last week Clare Crawley got engaged to former NFL WR Dale Moss (active 2012-2014 for the Chicago Bears, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Green Bay Packers and Carolina Panthers).
So that means The Bachelorette Season 16 Episode 5 would present an unprecedented event in the history of this series — a new Bachelorette will be introduced.
This week, we officially meet the new Bachelorette, Tayshia Adams who first appeared in Colton Underwood’s Bachelor season in 2019 and the 2019 installment of Bachelor in Paradise.
The rest of the episode, per ABC’s media site entails: The competition for Tayshia’s heart heats up, but one man is struggling with his enduring feelings for Clare. Clare and her fiancé, Dale, have a heart-to-heart chat with Chris Harrison as they try to explain the thunderbolt that hit both of them simultaneously. Brendan captures the first one-on-one date with Tayshia, but although he is eager to make a deeper connection, he is worried that baggage from a past relationship might put an end to his romantic prospects before the night is over.”
DJ and Michelle break down Tayshia’s first episode and who they think will get the final rose at the end of this wild season.
