The world is re-opening at a dizzying pace, and one of the big “returns to normal” for the country is return of the summer movie season.

Hosts Al Mannarino and Bill Bodkin discuss the re-opening of the country (and how they feel about it) and what the summer movie season is going to look like. They discuss the dual streaming and theatrical releases of films like Black Widow and Jungle Cruise, Warner Bros opting for Dune to go to theaters only, if Space Jam 2 will have the cultural resonance of the original, what will happen if MGM is bought by Amazon (which happened the morning after the podcast recorded), what the #1 movie of the summer will be and more!

Discussed in the pod are films such as: The Suicide Squad, The Green Knight, The Conjouring 3, In the Heights, A Quiet Place 2, Cruella, F9, Zola, Snake Eyes, Old, Free Guy and Candy Man. They also dip into the fall and holiday film season with thoughts on Shang Chi, Eternals, Last Night in SoHo, Venom and more.

They also discuss Al’s craft beer odyssey through New England.
