AEW Dynamite 9/8 saw All Elite Wrestling stop in Cincinnati — after a historic pay-per-view — to create more noise in the wrestling world!

Malakai Black defeats Dustin Rhodes:

Black defeating every member of the Rhodes family to get back to Cody has been a great story. Black pulled out Cody Rhodes’s boot in the middle of the match to even compel the story more. The match was a great way to kick off Dynamite and Black’s finisher looks stronger every single week.

The Lucha Brothers discuss how they are so excited to be tag team champions and how they have fought for years to be on top of the tag team division in AEW. It should be interesting to see who their next challengers will be, perhaps two men who are proud and powerful?

Eddie Kingston talks about how he and Miro kicked off All Out in a killer match, but Miro cheated and used a low blow. Miro counters and says that he also had to ice his lower region after the match Sunday. This will most likely lead to a Miro vs Eddie Kingston rematch!!

The CM Punk standing ovations will never get old. CM Punk talks about how he was nervous to wrestle this past Sunday but was very proud of the match. He thanks Sting and Darby and asks the crowd who they want to see him wrestle next. Tazz who was on commentary this week says to leave the members of Team Tazz out of Punks mouth. Punk then says he respects Taz and has known him for many years and says to bring on Ricky Starks, Will Hobbs, and Hook.

This segment was great. A program with Team Tazz is extremely interesting, but sign me up for a Ricky Starks vs CM Punk match any day of the week.

Santana and Oritz speak about them defeating FTR last week on Dynamite. They are going to put the whole tag division on notice and refocus themselves towards the tag team championships!

Tony Schiavone interviews Ruby Soho and asks why she had an open challenge. She wanted to prove herself and prove that Sunday was not a fluke. Britt interrupts and doesn’t want to waste TV time talking about Ruby. Ruby brings up her nicknames and says this is her block now as Jamie Hayter and she has a stare-down before their match later tonight.

This match is gonna rock this was an amazing segment and it elevates the match even more.

Will Hobbs defeats Dante Martin

This match was okay towards the end of the match. Hobbs did not look too good, so I hope he is okay. Martin is extremely talented and he had a good showing, but he was no match for Hobbs.

Dan Lambert with the Men of the Year cut a promo on all of the Talent Tony Khan just brought in and discusses how AEW is not what everyone thinks it is. He roasts AEW for two minutes and puts over Sky and Page.

This is a very interesting dynamic and I don’t know what the end goal is here but Lambert can definitely cut one hell of a promo.

Matt Hardy wants revenge after losing on the Buy-In on Sunday. He wants to end Orange Cassidy and cut all of his hair off. In typical Orange Cassidy fashion, his response was whatever.

This MJF segment was amazing in all senses of the word. MJF talks about the conspiracy of him losing to Jericho on Sunday and starts ripping on Cincinnati. He then disses Brian Pillman’s sister Linda and also verbally attacks his daughter. The daughter says she is proudly Brain Pilamn’s daughter when Brian Pillman JR. comes out to a huge pop. Brian talks about his dad as MJF continues to talk down upon him. Pillman and MJF get in a brawl as MJF tells Wardlow to just stand in the corner. Griff Garrison tries to save his tag partner, but MJF and Wardlow remain standing strong.

Ruby Soho defeats Jamie Hayter

This match was great. Ruby and Jamie looked great and Ruby looks so grateful to work in AEW. After the match Britt Reba and Hayter attack Soho when Rhio and Stadtlander make the save.

FTR& Shawn Spears defeated Evil Uno Stu Graison and John Silver:

This match was a fun six-man tag match, but Dark Order is having issues within the team. They started fighting after the match and Anna Jay and Tay Conti stopped them from arguing.

Anna Jay and Tay Conti called out the Bunny and Penelope Ford after the tactics from last week and in the battle royal.

Brain Pillman Jr. makes his match with MJF official for Grand Slam when Max Caster walks in and challenges him to a match on Rampage this Friday.

The Elite comes out and says that even though they lost their tag titles they gained a best friend back from the dead. Adam Cole comes out and confronts Tony Scivavone about being close with Britt Baker and tells the nerd to get out. Cole says he is in the best wrestling promotion in the world and is happy to be with his friends again. Bryan Danielson comes out to confront Kenny Omega and says Omega is scared to take the match against Danielson because he is going to lose. It ended with a brawl and Danielson and Jurassic Express standing strong.

It is still surreal that Danielson and Omega are in AEW. I am so excited to see where this all goes from here. Cole and Kazarian should be a great match next week.

Main Event of AEW Dynamite 9/8: Jon Moxley defeated Minoru Suzuki:

This match was an all-out brawl from start to finish. Suzuki started bleeding within the first five minutes and Moxley got a standing ovation from his hometown crowd. Moxley celebrated with the crowd when he won and that is how the show ended.

AEW Dynamite 9/8 was a fun show and a great way to cap off an amazing pay per view this past Sunday.

AEW Dynamite 9/8 is now streaming on TNT.
