This weekend is the 18th Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view, put on by Ring of Honor Wrestling.

With nine incredible matches set, we look to make history as we crown a new women’s champion. All summer we have seen 15 competitors punch their golden ticket to try and win the covenant title, but now we are down to two; Rok-C & Miranda Alize.

Both competitors have a lot in common, both are extremely young in the business and both are from the Texas independent scene, but more importantly, both were trained by WWE Hall of Famer Booker T. The other interesting note is when Miranda and Rok-C faced off in Reality of Wrestling in early 2019 the “Lucha Baddie” picked up the win. They also teamed up together to face Chelsea Green and Sumie Sakai at the end of August and they were successful.

Both have had extremely impressive showings in the tournament. Rok-C defeated inaugural ROH women’s champion Sumie Sakai, announcer and upcoming wrestler Quinn Mckay, and women’s wrestling legend Angelina Love. Alize defeated the “Pink Dream” Alex Gracia, technical wrestler Nicole Savoy, and Pan-Afrikan World Diaspora Champion Trish Adora.

No matter who wins this will definitely go in the record books as ROH tries to rebrand their women’s division. For me, I am going with the girl I picked from Day 1 the prodigy herself Rok-C!

Make sure you check out Death Before Dishonor Sunday, September 12th as you can order it on FITE TV, Honor Club, or your local TV provider!
