AEW All Access Episode 5, AEW focuses on its last big event for the year; Winter is Coming. At this event we got the highly-anticipated Tay Melo vs Ruby Soho singles match and match four of the best-of-seven series between Death Triangle and The Elite. Throughout the All Access episode, we also get a positive update on Adam Cole and the frustrations Sammy Guevara is going through from not doing anything on TV. This all leads up to next week’s finale at the huge episode of Dynamite at the Kia Forum. Here is everything you need to know about episode five of All Access.

The Grudge Match:

As shown in previous week’s episode, Tay Melo and Ruby Soho have some real tension in the locker room. This all accumulated in a huge singles match at Winter is Coming. Soho had said in multiple interviews that she was scared of Melo being reckless and if this happened she had no fear of delivering payback to her. Melo wanted to prove to Tony Khan that she is still able to perform in a high leveled singles competition and not just be Sammy Guevara’s manager. The match went great and Soho picked up a huge win. In the trailer for next week’s episode, they show the DQ Tag Match that happens on Rampage with Melo, Anna Jay Soho, and Willow. Although Soho and Melo did not want to work together they both proved that when you put your differences aside you can still deliver in a huge way inside the squared circle.

Sammy is Looking to Prove Himself:

Going into Full Gear Guevara had a ton of momentum towards him as he was getting a lot of TV time and putting on killer matches. Unfortunately towards the end of 2022, the momentum almost stopped. Guevara went four weeks without a match on TV and when he eventually got his shine it was only a one-off match with Moxley, where he wanted to be put into a serious storyline. Guevara insists on having a meeting with Tony Khan to insist on him doing more on AEW programming. Tony Khan then reveals his very long and detailed booking sheet to assure Guevera that there are huge things still planned for him and he does not need to worry. Now Guevera is set to wrestle for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship at Double or Nothing in a fatal four-way pillar main event. So, always trust Tony Khan he does indeed know what he is doing.

Adam’s Returning in LA Bay Bay:

After nine months and two horrific concussions, Adam Cole gets some great news on this episode. After not appearing at Full Gear, his new goal is to return at the Kia Forum show in January. Britt and Kenny Omega are very nervous about Cole’s return and they do not want to rush it. Omega then says he will be there for Cole’s next medical update to ease his mind. Omega and Cole bump around and the AEW medical team clears him to return to Los Angeles. Cole becomes ecstatic as all of his hard work finally paid off. Now next week we are off to the Kia Forum!

AEW ALL ACCESS Episode 5 is now on demand and new episodes airs on TBS right after Dynamite at 10:00 PM EST.
