The late summer classic has returned.
The Hi-Tide Summer Holiday — a three day celebration of the music and culture of surf, tiki and mid-century modern culture — returns to The Asbury Lanes and The Asbury Hotel August 16 through 18.
The festival lineup this year features renowned tiki outfit The Hula Girls, The McCharmlys, The Courettes, Marcel Bontempi and The Sound Minds, Bloodshot Bill and Televisionaries, Asbury’s own Black Flamingos, The Babalooneys, Charlie and The Tropicales, Slowey and The Boats, The Swingin’ Palms, plus special guest DJ Monster Rally.
Magdalena O’Connell and Vincent Minervino — the co-founders of Hi-Tide Recordings and its sister imprint NuTone Recordings — use every centimeter of the two venues to create an immersive experience exploring this surf and tropical culture. Outside of live music there will a curated tropical cocktail menu, island-inspired cuisine, rooftop happy hours and pool parties at The Asbury, “late night record hops,” a vintage vendor market and more.
Hi-Tide co-founders Magdalena O’Connell & Vincent Minervino activate all spaces within the iconic Jersey Shore music venue & hotel to create an immersive escape with live music, an exclusive tropical cocktail menu, island eats, panoramic rooftop happy hours, pool parties, late night record hops, vintage vendor market & more.
