King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard is one of the most prolific, creative and ambitious bands out there. Since 2010 the Australian-born band has produced albums filled with psych rock, prog rock, folk, jazz fusion, heavy metal and synth pop. They’ve dropped at least 26 albums plus remixes, creating a gigantic catalog of epic songs.
Opening the show were local heroes (and soon to be national treasures), Geese. Not to be confused with the jam band Goose, Geese is a wildly progressive post-punk outfit that knows how to create super hooky songs.
