Kimmy Sokol was live covering Ring of Honor’s Final Battle 2024 Media Scrum at The Hammerstein Ballroom at The Manhattan Center in New York City on December 20, 2024 for Pop Break.
The media scrum was hosted by Ring of Honor Owner and Head of Creative Tony Khan and lead commentator Ian Riccaboni.
The brand new Ring of Honor Television Champion – Komander – came to the dais with his hype man, manager and translator Alex Abrahantes. The rope-walking luchador won the title in a Survival of the Fittest 6-Man Elimination Match featuring Blake Christian, Willie Mack, AR Fox, Mark Davis and the champion, “The Machine” Brian Cage.
Komander broke down in tears of joy discussing how much it meant for him to win this title. He spoke of nearly dying as an infant, and how that has given him perspective.
