In August 2025, I attended, and wrote a review for, the second annual Rebel Scum Con, which truly was a magical experience for both Branden Vice and I.
Star Wars fans should continue to rejoice after two successful years as the third annual Rebel Scum Con will return on August 7th through 9th at the Embassy Suites Dallas Frisco Hotel & Convention Center.
Last year’s Rebel Scum Con featured Sam Witwer (Maul: Shadow Lord), Katee Sackhoff (The Clone Wars/The Mandalorian), Kyle Soller (Andor), and additional guests added on via The Virtual Cantina Network’s Boonta Eve event such as Diana Lee Inosanto (Ahsoka), Taylor Gray (Star Wars Rebels), and Anna Graves (The Clone Wars).
Ahmed Best (The Phantom Menace), David W. Collins (Maul: Shadow Lord, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed), and Matthew Wood (Revenge of the Sith/Clone Wars/The Phantom Menace/The Mandalorian) are all notable Rebel Scum Con alumni.
This year’s event promises to outdo the last two events as acclaimed and beloved Star Wars director Bryce Dallas Howard who (also voiced Yaddle – Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi) and John Boyega who portrayed Finn/FN-2187 in the sequel trilogy are the featured headliners and the remainder of the guest list touches all eras of Star Wars.

Rebel Scum Con is also hosting a FANBOYS reunion including director Kyle Newman and fan favorite Hutch as played by Dan Fogler. And finally, Sean Patrick Flannery of Boondock Saints and Young Indiana Jones fame, rounds out this amazing guest line-up.
Rebel Scum Con will continue to host a variety of premier vendors and partners, notable artists and authors such as Michael Stackpole, Ernest Cline, Seth Groves, and Candice Dailey; prominent tattoo artists, and out-of-this world panels.
