Marvel Television and Animation took over the vaunted Empire Stage at New York Comic Con’s 20th Anniversary on Thursday October 8 to present their upcoming slate of television and animation projects coming to Disney+ in the future.
Here’s what we saw…
Marvel’s new series, Zodiac, was announced by Brad Winderbaum – head of Marvel Television, Animation, Comics & Franchise. The series is schedule for a 2028 release, and will begin filming in London next year.
Marvel Zombies will continue with not one, but three specials — Marvel Zombies: The Winter Soldier, Marvel Zombies: The Fist of Khonshu and Marvel Zombies: The Last Guardian. This means the return of the Moon Knight, and given the logo the Guardians of the Galaxy in some firm.
Charlie Cox was joined by Kristyn Ritter and Finn Jones to present the trailer for the third and final season of Daredevil: Born Again which will premiere in 2027.
Cox joked about the “Save Daredevil” campaign gearing up for Round 2.
The Empire Stage was then present clips from X-Men ’97 Season 3. The footage finds Jubilee potentially in the future where she meets Mystique and The Brotherhood. Is this the first part of the Days of Future Past storyline with Jubilee taking over the role Kitty Pryde had?
We see footage of the ’90s X-Men with Storm and Professor X talking about Creed’s presidency.
Somebody’s getting married. That’s right Rogue and Gambit are getting hitched, and in attendance are Matt Murdock and Jennifer Walters. Namor is also there.
The trailer and first episode of VisionQuest was shown, which we’ll have a few review on.
