News officially broke today that Nintendo will be releasing a tinier version of the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) later this year, just in time to be placed under your Christmas tree. The system looks exactly like the one that came out back in the mid 1980s, only a bit smaller. This shrunken down version will allow you to join up with a buddy or a significant other while soaking up some nostalgic glee.
Bundled in with the deal will be one controller. In addition, no cartridges are necessary to play games; the console will have 30 built in titles ready to play, including the Super Mario Bros. trilogy, The Legend of Zelda and it’s follow up, The Adventures of Link, Tecmo Bowl, Punch-Out! Featuring Mr. Dream, Galaga, Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, Kirby’s Adventure, Mega Man 2, and many more!
At 60 bucks, you couldn’t ask for a better deal for so many awesome games. The mini NES is going to be a sought after gift for many, so make sure you mark your calendars for its debut in mid November.
Game on!
The cute little baby NES will be on store shelves November 11th, 2016
