As reported by Variety, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) will be suiting up once again when Daredevil Season 3 starts streaming on Netflix next year.
News of the renewal came during Thursday’s San Diego Comic-Con panel for Marvel’s Luke Cage. The Defenders, a series featuring Daredevil, Cage (Mike Colter), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), and the Iron Fist (Finn Jones), will debut sometime in 2017. Marvel released a teaser for the upcoming crossover.
Speaking with Variety in March, executive producer Douglas Petrie said, “This felt, from the very beginning, very important to us and so we just honored that all along the way: what’s the best show we can possibly see based on these characters and the storylines that we’ve loved for so long?”
