Pop-Break Live: Prophets of Rage at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden, NJ
Prophets of Rage brought their “Make America Rage Again” Tour to the BB&T Pavilion in Camden, NJ on Saturday August 20.
To say that POR’s tour is one of the most anticipated tours of the summer is an understatement. Outside of a few spot shows, including one at Governors Ball in NYC and one at the Warsaw in Brooklyn, East Coast audiences haven’t seen Prophets of Rage in action yet. The thought of Rage Against the Machine alumni Tom Morello, Tim Commerford, and Brad Wilk, Public Enemy’s Chuck D, Cypress Hill’s B-Real, and DJ Lord jamming together had potential concert-goers chomping at the bit. Seriously, what hard rock fan wouldn’t want to see this line-up?
Luckily, Prophets of Rage escaped the “supergroup curse” and delivered a phenomenal set of covers, and originals. Fans were blown away at how these artists gelled on stage.
We’re stoked to drop these photos today (Friday August 26) because the band drops their first EP, The Party’s Over .
Opening for Prophets of Rage was WAKRAT, and AWOLNATION.
Pop-Break’s Saidy Lopez caught everyone in action.
