This week we start off with the Rose Ceremony that didn’t get completed last week.
The Night of the Rose Ceremony
The men seem to be anxious throughout the night. David went to the hospital and Clay left due to his injury, which required surgery.
After talking to a few guys, David’s back in the house! He has a black eye and a busted nose, which he broke when he fell out of the top bunk of the bunk bed. David receives an early rose from Becca because he needs to “rest up,” as Becca proclaims. Jordan seems less than thrilled that David has a rose; their beef continues.

Becca reveals that they’re all going to Utah, and the men seem unrealistically excited.
Date 1 – Solo Date
Participant – Garrett
While in Park City, Becca and Garrett go to an ‘Alpaca shop’ and try on hats and take selfies with a digital camera. There were a few times that Becca brought up how Garrett reminds her of home. She says that she feels her father is smiling over them, it’s very sweet.
Cut away to the house:
We find out that Lincoln is a FLAT-EARTHER! (Someone who believes the earth is flat instead of a sphere) The men start to question his sanity. (This gave my boyfriend an aneurism while watching… he proceeded to explain to me how Lincoln is the most wrong.)
Back to the date:
Becca is so smitten with Garrett. They take a ski lift to the top of a mountain and reveal that they’re going bobsledding. They meet up with Valerie and Shawna who are 2006 Olympic bobsledders that eventually got married and had children. They give Becca and Garrett some advice, but don’t seem to do much else. They show about a minute of them bobsledding and about a hundred of them making out afterwards. Again, Becca mentions how into Garrett she is. I’m confident he makes it to the final four.
They have a drink in a cabin in the woods. Becca reveals to Garrett that he reminds her of her dad. Garrett tells Becca about his ex-wife and why he thought that relationship didn’t work. Becca seems a bit uneasy about this but looks past it. Garrett receives a rose. Afterwards, they go to a crowded bar where Granger Smith is singing for them, and they end their date with a dance and a long kiss.
Date 2 – Group Date
Participants – Jordon, Chris, Blake, Nick, John, Lincoln, Leo, David, Carter, Jason, Colton, Jean Blanc
Becca is wearing a plaid jacket, black jeans and a black snowcap. They’re going to be lumberjacks today. They split a piece of wood with an axe. Everyone seems capable of splitting the wood in one swing, aside from Jean, Lincoln, and Chris. Next is axe throwing. They show Becca throw an axe and land a bullseye in “one shot” (I can’t help but wonder how many one-shots happened before they got that actual shot). The men split into 2 teams. The red team, which included Becca, and the blue team. The Blue team won with John climbing a pole, Mulan-style. He won an award from Becca for surprising her.
They go to a distillery. After meeting with Jason and Colton, Jordon meets with Becca. He shows her that he’s wearing the golden booty shorts that she gave him the night before. Colton starts having beef with Jordon for not being here for the right reasons.
Jean Blanc gives Becca a custom fragrance and basically asks for a one-on-one, which gets awkward pretty quick. Becca starts questioning his motives, she said things sort of felt off with him. He proceeds to tell her that he’s falling in love with her. There was about 30 seconds of silence, but it felt like an hour. Becca comes to the conclusion that her and Jean Blanc are on different wavelengths, and just like that, Jean Blanc starts to get walked out.
There’s five more minutes of awkwardness between the two of them before Jean Blanc gets into the limo. Apparently, he told her that he didn’t mean it when he said he was falling in love with her, but he just thought that was the right time to say it. Although I’m not convinced by his explanation, I do believe he could have said that because he was embarrassed about Becca not returning his affection.
Becca went back inside and was very upset. She didn’t like being deceived. The one thing she really wants from the guys is for them to be honest with her, and based on her previous relationship with Arie, it’s completely understandable. She doesn’t give out a rose tonight.
Date 3 – Single Date
Participant – Wills
I feel bad for Wills because thanks to Jean Blanc, Becca is completely thrown of her usual rhythm. Normally when she’s on the one-on-one’s she’s a fun ball of energy which she can concentrate onto the guy. Wills said he thinks she’s a bit shook up from yesterday and he just wants to be there for her. So, they go snowmobiling up a mountain and seem to have a lot of fun. Once they get to the top, they sit around a fire and are talking about what happened last night with Jean. Wills does a superb job of helping to make her feel better. Everything Wills said made me ‘aww’. They have a snowball fight and kiss on the top of the mountain they’re on.
During their dinner date, Wills mentions that Becca’s strength was very attractive to him. He talked about his previous relationship and how it went downhill. He was cheated on in a long-term relationship, and in that way, he can relate to Becca by feeling like your partner is going to betray you. They talk about their fears in a relationship and realize they have a lot of the same fears. Becca gives him a rose.
The Rose Ceremony
They skip the cocktail party this week because Becca knew what she wanted.

Becca reveals that they’re leaving the mountains and going to Vegas!
The preview for next week’s episode revealed that Chris starts to stir the pot with the other men, and the long-awaited two on one date between Becca, Jordon, and David finally takes place.
