We’re excited to bring you the exclusive world premiere of Matt McAndrew’s new video, ‘Game Over.’
With this video, some could say it’s more like “game on” for the New Jersey-born singer/songwriter/indie pop star as this song and video are destined for big things.
‘Game Over’ is an infectious anthem, a ready-made single destined for infinite playback in your mind, or your current playlist. Driven by a groove, and anchored by McAndrew’s trademark soulful pipes, ‘Game Over’ is an upbeat, honest song about the joys of finding “the one.”
Here are a few exclusive thoughts from McAndrew on the new video:
“With the video, I wanted to provide a visual that would complement and amplify what’s already there in the song – the feeling, the story. It’s part performance, part recreation.
It was important for me to inform people’s perspective of the song with the video. When you tell someone it’s a song about your girlfriend called “Game Over” they might think it’s a breakup song. I wanted to make sure it conveyed romance and celebration. It’s that feeling when you really connect with someone and that’s it — “Game Over”.
It was a really fun shoot. I think everyone there genuinely had a good time.”
