The lineup Sea.Hear.Now 2022 is here.
Sea Hear Now 2022, the fourth installment of the festival, will take place September 17-18, 2022 on the North Beach of Asbury Park, New Jersey.
Stevie Nicks, the iconic voice of Fleetwood Mac, will headline the September 17th show. Joining the Rock + Roll Hall of Famer will be My Morning Jacket, bluegrass/jam superstar Billy Strings, and blues guitar god Gary Clark Jr. along with Fletcher, The Backseat Lovers, Peach Pit, Skip Marley, Celisse, Aly & AJ, The Surfrajettes, plus local favorites Dogs in a Pile and Dentist.
The almighty Green Day will headline Sunday September 19. Joining Green Day will be Cage the Elephant (originally scheduled for 2020, then had to bow out of the 2021 festival), The Head and the Heart, Idles, Courtney Barnett, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Tai Verdes, Shakey Graves, Andy Franco & The Un, Cimafunk, the Disney-themed tribute band The Little Mermen, Calder Allen and local punk stalwarts Lost in Society and The Vansaders.
Surfing will return with Cory Lopez, Sam Hammer, Cassidy McClain, Eric Geiselman, Rob Kelly, Cam Richards, Will Skudin, Pat Scmidt, Evan Geiselman, Mike Gleason, Simon Hetrick, Tommy Ihnken, Mikey Ciaramella, Seth Conboy, Logan Kamen, Audrey Iglay, Morgan Iglay, MAddie Ryan and Cole Devany.
According to press release, “Danny Clinch’s Transparent Gallery will return featuring artwork from musicians on the lineup along with impromptu performances and artist talks by the contributing musicians. Proceeds will benefit the Wooden Walls Project, an initiative that brings public art to Asbury Park. Additionally, Stokehenge’s jellyfish and surfboard arch will again feature the work of Asbury Park artist Pork Chop, providing the fan favorite photo backdrop as well as the mural circle, which feature artists that call the Jersey Shore home.”
