WWE Evolution 2 is making a comeback this year after a seven-year absence. The all-women’s live event will take place on July 13, 2025, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta and will be streamed on Peacock.
This exciting event will feature matches for world titles, appearances by WWE legends, and performances from emerging stars. We will celebrate the incredible talent of women’s wrestlers with a total of seven matches, showcasing the skill of WWE’s female superstars. This show promises to deliver something unique.
Here are the different matches we will see this Sunday:
Women’s World Championship: Iyo Sky (C) vs. Rhea Ripley
This is one of the biggest matches of the night. Iyo Sky is among the top WWE stars, while Rhea Ripley is fearless and determined to reclaim her title. Iyo Sky hasn’t defended her championship since WrestleMania 41 and has been absent from television. Rhea Ripley lost the WWE World Championship to Iyo Sky in early 2025 during an episode of RAW, due to interference from Bianca Belair. Rhea has never won a match against Iyo and has had to deal with a significant back injury that kept her from participating in the last WrestleMania.
Prediction: Rhea Ripley has faced many challenges in her quest to defeat Iyo Sky, but she is ready to fight and show her true abilities this Sunday.
NXT Women’s Championship: Jacy Jayne (C) Vs. Jordynne Grace
Jacy Jayne is the current NXT Women’s Champion and has been with NXT longer than Jordynne Grace. Despite dealing with lingering effects from a broken nose after a match, she continues to pursue her passion for wrestling. On the other hand, Jordynne Grace is a newcomer to NXT, having transitioned from TNA. She made her WWE debut in the Women’s Royal Rumble, where she showcased her potential and has since made a significant impact in the company. Grace earned a shot at the title by winning a match, proving that she is ready to compete for the championship.
There is an upcoming match on July 20, where the current TNA Women’s World Champion, Masha Slamovich, will face the winner of the NXT Women’s Championship. Jordynne Grace has a deeper storyline with Masha Slamovich, which suggests that their match would be particularly better.
Prediction: Both Jacy Jayne and Jordynne Grace are exceptional competitors, and their match will be intense. However, in the end, Jordynne Grace will emerge as the champion.
WWE Women’s tag Team Championship: Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez (C) vs. Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair vs. Sol Ruca & Zaria vs. The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane)
I believe this is one of the easiest matches to predict, even though it will be a very exciting match. Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez will be competing in a fatal four-way match against three other teams, where the team that scores a submission or pin will win the titles.
Prediction: The new but dangerous team of Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair will win the match.
WWE Women’s Championship Match: Tiffany Stratton (C) vs. Trish Stratus
This match is also one of the most exciting of the night as it features a showdown between two generations of wrestlers. Tiffany Stratton, young and confident, will be looking to prove that she belongs among the best on Sunday. In contrast, Trish Stratus, a WWE Hall of Famer known for being one of the greatest women wrestlers in history, aims to demonstrate that she still possesses the skills that earned her that title. It promises to be an exhilarating match where both competitors will give their all in the ring.
Prediction: While Trish Stratus is undeniably an exceptional wrestler and will showcase her talent this Sunday, Tiffany Stratton will remain in the spotlight as the WWE Women’s Champion. WWE is focused on the future, and Tiffany Stratton represents that.
No Holds Barred Match: Jade Cargill vs. Naomi
This is one of the hardest matches to predict, but one thing is certain: we can expect an intense match. These two women have a long history filled with jealousy, and now they are set to face each other in a “No Holds Barred” match. This means they can use any objects and fight outside of the ring without disqualification, so we can anticipate a lot of action, possibly even blood.
Prediction: Both wrestlers are incredibly strong, and this will likely be one of the toughest matches of the night. While anything can happen, I believe the breakout moment will come from Jade Cargill winning this match.
Women’s Battle Royal – Winner Gets a Title Shot at Clash in Paris
In this match, we will see WWE stars from SmackDown, Raw, and NXT, alongside some legends making appearances that night. They will have a chance to compete for a shot at the next big event, Clash in Paris, where they can choose which champion to face. We can anticipate that this match will be full of surprises.
Prediction: While this match is difficult to predict, I believe Stephanie Vaquer has a strong chance of winning. This could be her opportunity to rise to the top of the WWE industry.
Intercontinental Championship (Triple Threat Match): Becky Lynch vs. Bayley vs. Lyra Valkyria
This match may be one of the easiest to predict. It features three participants: first, we have Becky Lynch, the current Intercontinental Champion. She is one of the most famous WWE superstars and has all the skills needed to win this match. Next, we have Bayley, another great wrestler who has been seen in the ring over the past several years. She is looking to prove that she is a legend. Finally, there is Lyra Valkyria, a rising star from NXT who already has a storyline with Becky Lynch.
Prediction: I believe this match will have no surprises, and the winner will be the current Intercontinental Champion, Becky Lynch.
