Nashville-based hard rocker J NOIRE has dropped a new single, “Radiate,” which is now available on all streaming platforms.
The single evokes sonic imagery of post-nu-metal melodic hard rock complimented by tinges of industrial.
J NOIRE, according to a press release, commented that the song is about: “…hope, and these days I feel like we need songs to remind people that there’s ALWAYS hope, love, and purpose in life. We all deserve that spark, something that radiates.”
This track will be a part of the artist’s EP dubbed Prometheus which will drop in later in 2026. He will be joined by bassist Steve Stokes and drummer Danny Laverde on the album.
According to a press release, “Johnson’s story feels almost pre-written for this moment. Raised on rock from an early age, he picked up a guitar at just five years old and went on to master hundreds of songs, honing both his playing and vocal ability in isolation while growing up in Utah.”
“After coming out in high school and feeling creatively boxed in, he relocated to Nashville, where he cut his teeth performing as a professional guitarist on Broadway. But the cover circuit, while formative, ultimately left him searching for something more personal and honest.”
J NOIRE is one of the first artists signed to Craig Ericson’s (former owner of Rise Records) new label Vaux Records. Ericson is a veteran of the music industry who is responsible for the launch and development of artists such as Sleeping With Sirens, PVRIS, Dance Gavin Dance, Beartooth, Of Mice & Men, and many others.
