Every superhero has to have his or her romantic love interest and Captain America is no different. In this case, Peggy quickly proved that she wasn’t a typical damsel in distress and was in fact Captain America’s equal in almost every way. Haley Atwell’s portrayal of the character was so impressive, that Marvel insisted on having her character be in every movie possible. She had cameos in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Avengers 2. Audiences couldn’t get enough of her so they even made a television series called Agent Carter that airs on ABC. It may be corny, but Peggy Carter’s success shows that sometimes it really is possible for anything to happen in the world of cinema.
