“Wendy. Darling. Light…of my life. I’m not gonna hurt you”. Yeah right, Jack, we know you’re full of crap but that doesn’t stop us, the audience, from hyperventilating like Wendy, petrified at the sight of a maniacal Jack Nicholson walking up the stairs towards her. It’s a scene of a man losing his mind, venting his frustrations but turning that frustration up to eleven. Wendy is so weak and you know if he gets his hands on that bat he’s going to bash her brains in. All work and no play…
