Theater, Rent, No Thanks, Undecided? Theater. I fully intend to go back to school with Monster’s University, the prequel to Monster’s Inc. While I internally wish that Pixar would not cut from the same cloth of Disney and pump out sequels (or I guess prequels for that matter) from material that’s good enough to stand on it’s own, I’m still very excited about this film as I’m a huge fan of the original. I’m just holding out hope that this monster-iffic trip back in time doesn’t sour the magic of its 2001 follow-up. You’ll be able see my thoughts on it as I will provide the exclusive pop-break review sometime opening weekend. –LJF
Theater, Rent, No Thanks, Undecided? Theater. Excuse me while I completely nerd out. I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS MOVIE. Sorry, I just needed to get that out. This movie has me excited — it’s the cast from Monsters Inc. in the 80s. I’m not overly concerned about the ‘sequel’ aspect because it’s been so damn long since the original. This isn’t Cars. Seriously, even if this movie doesn’t live up to my mental hype, it’s still going to be a solid film and I’ll be in the theater to check it out. –BB
