Press Release Big Picture Media will be hosting a show on Dec. 8th at Mexicali Live, featuring Blameshift, Viv & The Revival, Lost In Los Angeles, and Chevonne and The Fuzz.
Blameshift – The Long Island based rock band comprised of Jenny Mann (vocals), Tim Barbour (guitar and vocals) and Nathan Saake (drums), recently released their new album, Secrets, on November 5th. The band just got off the “Bring It Tour 2013” along side Super Bob and has released a previous EP The Black Rose, a record fully funded by loyal fans. Over 75 related music media outlets, including Taco Bell and Sullen Clothing, supported the bands release, which nearly tripled the band’s following, gaining them recognition as “Unsigned Band of the Month” by Hot Topic in August of 2011.
Viv & The Revival – The band will be releasing a new full-length album, The Introduction, produced by Viv and Grammy-nominated producer Rick Friedrich (The Roots, Rihanna, Kanye West) as well as renowned producer Scott Bricklin, out February 18, 2014. In the past three years, songs from Viv and the Revival’s previous self-released EP’s have been placed worldwide in numerous television shows, national commercials, and movies. His song “Fire” was used in a Bud Light commercial during the Summer Olympics in 2012. NBC’s The Voice used six of his songs on the show’s second season, and several other tracks on season three. Other songs have been placed on NBC, MTV, ESPN, TeenNick, and in films.
Lost In Los Angeles (LiLA) – LiLA is an LA based trio who just recently re-released their single “Because Of You” and premiered the visual counterpart on NYLON Guys. For this new video, LiLA again turned to Steven Lippman (All American Rejects, Incubus, Ben Harper) who directed their award winning “Million Stars” video, which gained rotation on MTV and Vh1. LiLA have emerged as true sonic storytellers, wandering through hope, love and humanity, while wearing their hearts on their sleeves. Pulling from such varied musical inspirations such as Air, Depeche Mode, Led Zeppelin, Boards of Canada, Deftones, Moby, Flock of Seagulls, Stevie Wonder, Goldfrapp, Elton John, and Jeff Buckley, LiLA stretches musical boundaries on all fronts. Chevonne and The Fuzz – After touring worldwide on both Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball tour and with renowned UK diva Estelle, frontwoman Chevonne took on NBC’s The Voice and left viewers dazzled. With solo success under her belt, Chevonne gathered five young-buck players with talent, charm, and style to spare,t o craft seven pop-rock monster songs. The band recently released their debut EP Fire At Will and has been featured on Guitar World, ARTIST Direct, and Zimbio.
