Luke Kalamar: I never got into Friends. I know, that’s basically the worst thing a television editor can ever say, but it’s the cold hard truth. Plenty of my friends loved Friends and constantly sang its praises. Those very same people still do it today. I, on the other hand, spent my younger years getting into cartoons and anime (Dragon Ball Z for the win). When I got old enough to watch shows like South Park, I simply had no desire to jump onto the Friends bandwagon.
Don’t worry, I’ve seen a sizable of portion of Friends in my lifetime. Constant syndication will see to that. In a way, that syndication is my favorite Friends memory. I may not be a massive fan of the show, but I am extremely knowledge of its comedic expertise and appeal. Literally anybody can enjoy Friends. It always was and always will be a reliable source of entertainment. Even now I find myself wanting to put it on because I know it’ll be enjoyable. To me, that’s the sign of a legendary program. You don’t even need to be a fan to enjoy it.
ThOde bloopers are my favorite episode now.
