5. Gone Girl

There is plenty of book to screen adaptations in which I haven’t had the time to read the novel. However, Gillian Flynn’s saga of a marriage gone way off the tracks was a serious page turner. The film kept the interest intact, with each moment and word never lost on its audience. Even though there is a near three hour run time, Gone Girl never lets us retain our breath until the final discovery is made, and boy, it’s a whopper. Without hesitation in saying it,   David Fincher’s latest is a true masterpiece of mysterious proportions. Read our review here.
