The Suicide Squad Trailer Has Arrived


The First Official Suicide Squad Trailer is Here

It’s time to get excited. We’ve seen a ton of great trailers come out of San Diego Comic-Con, but very few were as hotly anticipated as the first official trailer for DC’s Suicide Squad.

The film revolves are a group of “incarcerated supervillains who act as deniable assets for the United States government, undertaking high-risk black ops missions in exchange for commuted prison sentences. The group operates out of Belle Reve Penitentiary, under the directorship of Amanda Waller (Viola Davis).

The film features Jared Leto as The Joker, Margot Robie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevigne as Enchantress, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo, Adam Beach as Slipknot, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, and Karen Fukuhara as Katana. Other cast members include: Scott Eastwood, Ike Barinholtz, Common, and even Ben Affleck as Batman.

The film, directed by David Ayer, will be released on August 5, 2016. Check back tomorrow when we review the trailer for our Trailer Tuesday column.
