The crazy colorful dreadlocks might be gone. The wild stage antics might be toned down ever so slightly (in terms of outlandishness, not energy, production, or execution). But at the end of the day, George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic still put on the best damn funk show in the world.
In early February, Clinton brought his renowned ensemble to the legendary Keswick Theatre in Glenside, Pennsylvania. It was a night celebrating Clinton’s vast catalog of infectious funk anthems, as well as a sneak peek in what is yet to come from the Rock Hall inductee.
