The Peach Music Festival Might Have the Best Line-Up of Summer 2018

Peach Music Festival 2018 Line-Up

Hot take.

The Peach Music Festival’s 2018 line-up may not just be one of the best jam-oriented festival line-ups this summer, but one of the best summer musical festival line-ups this summer…period.

If you love jam bands and all the genres that fall under it (funk, soul, jazz, rock, blues, jamtronica, bluegrass, Americana) — your tastes are well represented.

Let’s break everything down…(and if you’re wondering, the links lead to interviews or shoots we’ve done with the bands recently).

On Thursday July 19 things kick off with some pretty rad bands — Twiddle, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Turkuaz, The Marcus King Band, and Cabinet — who will be making their only live performance this year at Peach.

On Friday July 20 we get some massive bands: Phil Lesh & The Terrapin Family Band, Umphrey’s McGee, The Revivalists, Moe., Twiddle & Friends, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band, Leftover Salmon, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, ZZ Ward, Anders Osborne & Jackie Greene, The Suffers, Big Something, The Main Squeeze, Magic Beans, Midnight North, Kitchen Dwellers, Bobby Lee Rodgers, Litz, The Blue Stones, Hayley Jane & The Primates.

On Saturday July 21 we see the spoil of richs continue with: Gov’t Mule’s “Dark Side of the Mule,” Joe Russo’s Almost Dead (two sets), Little Feat (with Turkuaz Horns) performing Waiting for Columbus in its entirety, Blackberry Smoke, The Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Spafford, The Devon Allman Project w/Duane Betts, Band of Changes — Harford Metzger, Dreiwitz & Russo, Third World, Nicki Bluhm, Aqueous, Ghost Light featuring Holly Bowling, Tom Hamilton & guests, Brandon “Taz” Niederauer, Gatos Blancos, Driftwood, Mo Lowda & The Humble, The Commonheart, Flux Capacitor, Thorp Jenson, Funky Dawgz Brass Band, Juice.

On Sunday July 22 things should be cooling down…but they don’t. Performances include: Gov’t Mule, Dickey Betts & His Band, Dumpstaphunk, Organ Freeman, Soule Monde, JP Biondo, Bishop Gunn.

The festival, as always, takes place at Montage Mountain in Scranton, PA.

Tickets are available for the entire weekend as well as for single day. Click here for pricing, which also includes travel packages.
