On a crisp autumnal evening William Elliott Whitmore stood on the stage of House of Independents in Asbury, banjo in hand, and performed one hell of a show.
The Iowa-born artist has had quite the career — being signed to the significant indie labels such as Bloodshot Records and ANTI-. According to his Wikipedia, he has toured with h Chris Cornell, City and Colour, Murder by Death, Clutch, Lucero, Converge, Red Sparowes, Modern Life is War, Frontier Ruckus, Frank Turner, Esmé Patterson and The Low Anthem.
Opening for William Elliott Whitmore was Brooklyn-based Lizzie No and Tim Hause (brother of Dave Hause).
